Tuition Payment and Refund Policy for International Students

Tuition fees at ITS vary depending on the course. At the application stage, students are required to pay an application fee and, upon acceptance, the relevant tuition fees.

Tuition fees for each course can be found near the bottom of course page. Courses can be found through here: ITS | Couse Page.

In addition to tuition, students are responsible for covering course-related costs, which may include uniforms, aprons, and kitchen tools such as knives.

Information about our Tariffs and Fees can be found through here: Tariffs and Fees.

Payment Options and Visa Refund Policy for International Students

Students at the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) have the flexibility to choose how they pay their tuition fees. Payments can be made either in full for the entire academic year or by semester, depending on what best suits the student's financial planning. This approach is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of our international student community and provide greater ease in managing educational expenses. In addition, students can choose to complete their payments either online through our secure payment portal or in person at the ITS Accounts Department during regular office hours.

It is important to note that all application fees are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application process. However, ITS does recognize the challenges international students may face when applying for study visas. As such, tuition fees are refundable if a student’s visa application is formally refused. This policy ensures that students who are unable to commence their studies due to immigration decisions are not unfairly financially impacted.

To initiate a refund for tuition fees in the case of a visa refusal, students must submit a valid visa refusal document issued by the respective authorities. Once this document is received, our Accounts Department will process the refund, returning the funds to the original method of payment. Students are encouraged to maintain clear records of their transactions and correspondence, and to contact the Accounts Department directly should they require any assistance or clarification during this process. ITS remains committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and support throughout the admissions and enrolment experience.
