While each programme has its own academic prerequisites, we strongly recommend that students whose qualifications are not aligned with the Bologna Process apply for an academic equivalency report through MQRIC (Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre).

At the Institute of Tourism Studies, a sound level of English language writing, speaking, listening, and reading is necessary since English is the language of instruction.

When applying to pursue studies at ITS, international students must provide evidence to indicate their level of English proficiency. For proof of English language proficiency, international students must score minimum competency in at least one of the following:

Start Your Application

  1. Click "Apply Now" on your chosen course page.
  2. Select "Applying as an International Student".
  3. Create a new user.

Pay the Application Fee

After creating your account, you will be prompted to pay the non-refundable application fee. Once this is completed, you may proceed to fill out your application form.

Submit Your Application

  1. Complete all required fields with your personal and academic details
  2. Submit the application form

Application Review

Our Registrar’s Department will assess your application. If accepted:

  • You will receive a request to pay your first semester tuition fees.
  • Upon payment, your details will be forwarded to Identità (Malta’s national identity agency)
  • A formal acceptance letter will be issued, along with a checklist of documents required for your visa application.

Visa Application

Once you’ve gathered all necessary documents, schedule an appointment with the nearest VFS Global Centre to begin your visa process.
